Sacramento Fashion Week

I met a person who is producing Sacramento Fashion Week.  A completely different person that wants to promote boutiques.  There are many who want to produce Sacramento Fashion Week.  It’s a tricky project.  That disturbs me when people decide to create a Sacramento Fashion Week that consists of boutiques and calls it Sacramento Fashion Week.   This future show coming up in April is a full week of promotitons at boutiques and clubs.  We are doing this for a reason to promote the main night show and to find the people who are currently familiar with the short small regular shows in Sacramento and introducing them to an upscale show towards the end of the week of April 25.  What an insult to the fashion designers in Sacramento.  Then there is no designer at the end of the runway but a boutique owner.  I have nothing against boutiques showing off their things for a fashion show, but it shouldnt be called Sacramento Fashion Week.  That shouldnt be the main highlight of the event.  Our main highlight is the last night of the week which is on April 25th of designers.

I guess I should talk about other things now.  I finally got to meet some designers who are prospects for my next project.  I like to tackle my projects with a purpose.  I like to tackle them as if it not only benefits me but for others.  I want to make a change as a whole.  I am not in it to make myself look good because I know that such a project like this cannot be done without the help of others.  My main goal is to improve the quality of the industry in Sacramento.  We need to start getting models paid, start getting bigger companies wanting to sell their products here, we need to introduce products to the community that nobody is aware of,  its all about moving the trend and starting it.  Quality is the key.  I am not into the college type style fashion shows.  If we have to begin showing it this way, then I will do it until we can move on to the next level.My intentions are good.  I am not controlling the industry but I would like to see some progress.
